I wrote this back in December, and disguised it as a whimsical original piece about a boy that doesn't exist and a girl who wishes he did. It's actually about Dakota, and I wrote it after spending hours talking about going back to Kahnawake with my grandfather a few days earlier. I'd let my imagination run away with me in the long run, 'cause there's obviously no way in a million years this could ever happen. XD

Since before I even started writing Wolf's Bane, I've been making a soundtrack for it. I was going to wait until the story was finished to post the entire thing, but I realized that by then it would insanely long, so I decided it would be best to post this on-going soundtrack as I compile it.

Here are the first twelve. They're arranged in no particular order (though I do like to think of the first as the main theme of this story), and keep in mind that, though it's not marked, the perspectives change according to each song. Some are narrative, while I find others to be in either Dakota or Bastian's point of view.

“As your best friend, it's my duty to try and talk you out of this,” said Ace as Bastian glanced at his watch for what had to have been, or at least it felt like, the millionth time in the last hour.

“You've been trying for days,” Bastian chuckled lowly, “and you've been failing miserably.”

“Okay, that's a little freaky,” Ace said as he looked at the picture displayed on Bastian's computer screen. Ace was a known Doubting Tom, but there was no denying that those were eyes of some kind staring through the bushes.

“A little?” Bastian choked on his Pepsi, putting the can down beside the mouse pad. “Who knows how long that thing was there or what it could have done to me?”

“I don't know why we have to come all the way out here for a pack of cigarettes,” sighed the brunet as he gave the car door a push, letting it swing shut on its own. “There's a convenience store right around the corner from us.”

“Yeah,” his friend said, jogging around the sleek white vehicle, “but they're more expensive. Seriously, $9.50 for a pack of twenty? That's criminal, Bastian.”
